The Route

What is the weather like at the canyon bottom?
The canyon floor can be significantly warmer than the rim in summer and cooler in winter. Dress in layers in spring or fall; light clothes and sunscreen in summer.

Can non-drinkers participate?

Why does this tour sell out?
Bottom-landing slots are limited by Hualapai Tribal regulations, which cap helicopter landings per day. Once those slots are filled, the tour is unavailable for that date. Booking at least one to two weeks ahead is recommended, and further out in summer.
